Overview

These courses are designed and developed to provide skills and knowledge in various aspects of law enforcement, criminal law and related areas. These programmes also adds advantage to employment opportunity in the field of law enforcement and security management.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

  1. To provide students with an appreciation of the current issues in the law enforcement administration industry.

  2. To equip students with an understanding of contemporary issues in the law enforcement administration environment.

  3. To produce knowledgeable students with intellectual capacity and skills in law enforcement administration field.

Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO)

  1. Acquire and apply knowledge of the fundamental aspects of law enforcement industry and current practices.

  2. Demonstrate ability to apply range of disciplines, techniques and approaches in handling law enforcement related task.

  3. Apply social skills and responsibilities in interacting effectively with various level of people and in handling matter related to law enforcement.

  4. Recognize and appropriately respond professionally, ethically, legal and strategic concerns relating to law enforcement activities.

  5. Communicate effectively and professionally in business situation through physical or virtual presence, writing, speaking, listening and electronic media, customer, other professionals and community. Realize and demonstrate effective leadership and teamwork skills.

  6. Apply problem solving and scientific skills in handling issues pertaining to law enforcement field.

  7. Demonstrate ability to engage in lifelong learning through continuous self-development and management of information,

  8. Contribute entrepreneurial and managerial skills to the management for decision making in the law enforcement skills.
